There are quite a few sites out there that allow you to transfer big files around the Interwebs that may be too big for email. I've written about a few of them, including DropLR (my current favorite) and JustBeamIt. I found another one today worth mentioning called WeTransfer. They both basically allow you to choose a file and upload it. WeTransfer allows you to put in the email address of the person you want to share the file with and they can download it from there.
If you have larger movie files or grade books or maybe an entire folder of files then one of these options might work for you.
