How to Lock the Dock

A teacher asked the other day if there was a way to lock his dock because he was inadvertently moving the icons off his dock and having to grab them and put them back. There was no way to lock it within the current setup of the operating system (that was easy) but I found a piece of software called Deeper that did the trick.
