Logging into Lab Computers

We have a new image on the computers in Lab 108 and soon in the Library Lab and the login process can be confusing.

When students sit down at the computers they'll see two options, 'Student' and 'Other'. The preferred method is for them to click on 'Other' and then enter the login and password:

• Login: gradyearlastnamefirstname (2016birksray)
• Password: student number (0123456)

If they click on 'Student' anything they do will NOT BE SAVED unless they login to the student server (Go > Connect to Server...)

Please train them to use the 'Other' login that way whatever they do will be saved and they do NOT have to connect to the server.
