Wordle is a great tool but some of the language you find deeper within the website in the titles of their formats can be a bit saucier than some would like. But there is a worthy, if not better, alternative, Word Cloud. This is a great tool for teaching and learning vocabulary as well as creating a visual on how many times a certain word comes up in a text. I used it after gathering staff feedback to show them how many times a certain word (like Learning or Students) popped up in their responses.
Give it a shot. Your kids will love it.
I also appreciate the printing and saving features of Word Cloud vs Wordle. It's just an easier, more friendly interface, plain and simple.
