The ability to preview files is a big timesaver. I use it on my Mac (by selecting a file and pressing the spacebar) a lot. Now Google Drive gives you the option to do the same thing by either right-clicking on a file and selecting Preview or by selecting a file and pressing 'P' on your keyboard. From within the preview you can do the following:
- close the preview by pressing the 'X'
- scroll through your document
- click 'View All' to see and preview all of your documents
- share your document
- open with with the appropriate Google Drive application
- go full screen
- zoom in/out
- use the arrow keys or on-screen arrows to scroll through your documents
