What to do with SPAM

Update: The Spam filter is set to catch almost everything that comes from outside the district. Check out this post to get an explanation of what that means and how to adjust it.

The WSD just upgraded the mail server and if there is Spam sneaking through the filter please be wary. As a precaution, NEVER give out personal information (passwords, login, SSN, credit card #) via email. The WSD already has information about your email account such as your login and password so they will NEVER ask for that from you.

The easiest thing to do is just delete Spam and move on. If you reply that just tells the spammer that you actually have a live email account and they will continue to send you email. I've replied to spammers with some choice words before but it's probably best to let sleeping dogs (and I do mean dogs) lie.
