Update: The site I was watching came back up but I never got an email or a text. Hmm...take the following with a grain of salt.

I found this cool site that will email or text you when a particular website goes down (or subsequently comes back up). I don't know how often I'll use it but I needed it tonight. Now...just waiting for that email (and text...I was paranoid).
