A while ago I wrote about a cool mapping tool called Pinmaps that allows you to place a pin on a map with some information associated with it. It is a great way for students to put info on a map and collaborate on a shared map. And here's another great tool called BatchGeo that allows you to import data and it creates the map and pins and information for you. It's hard to explain but it's cool to use.

Other cool things about it are that it allows you to Save and Email the map to others, which you'd know if you clicked on the link above. I know there's a bunch more you can do with it so play around with it and figure out a great use for your kids!
