Image Digital Citizenship

The last two days I've been taking part in a SHIFT grant class on making documentary films. Part of the lesson to take back to our kids is using images that are part of public domain so they don't get in trouble when their projects go viral and get 30 million hits on YouTube. A great way to make sure your images are kosher is to visit Google's Advanced Image Search. Once there, if you scroll all the way to the bottom you can toggle the drop-down for Usage Rights and choose the option that suits your needs.
