Word Tamer - Learn Story Elements

I came across an awesome tool today that helps students to learn Story Elements (setting, plot, characterization, climax, conflict, resolution. It's called Word Tamer and on the site students are presented with a carnival-like atmosphere where they can add, change, and work their way through the various Story Elements with fun graphics and sound. It is Flash-based so it will not work on an iOS device.

After the students manipulate the setting, for example, they are asked to write an example based on the choices they have made. They can then save the writing sample as a text file which could be emailed or uploaded to a cloud service. I think it would be useful for students in 5-10th grade based on some of the complexity of the writing prompts a student is presented with on the site.
