One thing Apple did away with when Mountain Lion came out was the ability to show your Display menu in the taskbar. It's nice when you have to adjust your display preferences to have a quick shortcut. But, as is usually the case in the Mac community, there is a simple solution to bringing it back. A free utility called Display Menu downloads into your taskbar and gives you access to the preferences you've so sorely missed, including mirroring.
